No Need to File Your BOI (For Now)

A recent federal court ruling has temporarily halted the enforcement of the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), which mandated that certain businesses disclose their beneficial ownership information (BOI) to the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). This means small business owners do not need to file their BOI by January 1 st , 2025 as previously told by the Department of Treasury.
